The “Dean 2.0” Mindset – From Academic Manager to Change Leader
The “Dean 2.0” concept was a focal point of this year's summit—representing the model academic leader in the digital transformation era, characterized by three prominent roles:
The Cheerleader – inspiring a spirit of learning, research, and innovation within the academic community.
The Facilitator – promoting interdisciplinary, inter-institutional, and international collaboration for mutual development.
The Lighthouse – guiding sustainable development strategies in education, focusing on humanistic values and global integration.
A “Dean 2.0” leads not only with expertise but also with an innovative mindset, technological proficiency, and adaptability in the face of AI, guiding the institution toward a more flexible, intelligent, and humane educational model.
Education Oriented Toward “Dean 2.0” – A Leadership Mindset for the Future
Lac Hong University's participation and contributions at the Dean’s Academy Summit 2025 testify to its spirit of integration and innovative leadership mindset.
Moving forward, LHU will continue to focus on developing its faculty leadership team based on the “Dean 2.0” model—leaders who guide with knowledge, connect through collaboration, and inspire through innovation. “A Dean 2.0 is not just a manager; they are an architect of a liberal learning environment where education, technology, and humanity develop sustainably together.”
Embracing the spirit of “The Power of Partnership,” LHU is proud to contribute Vietnam's voice to the journey of shaping global education in the AI era—where academic leaders become beacons illuminating the future of knowledge.
