Seminar "Trusted academic research databases for higher education institutions"

The seminar "Trusted academic research databases for higher education institutions" is organized with the purpose of providing a basis for statistical data on international article publications, serving the work of quality assessment, rankings assessment, the MOET's assessments, external assessment of the quality of articles published in WoS and Scopus journals; helping lecturers and staff learn about the publication of articles in prestigious WoS and Scopus journals, and scoring methods according to the MOET' regulations; promoting the submission of articles to domestic reputable conferences according to the MOET' regulations.

Venue: Auditorium A301 - Campus 1 - LHU

Participants:

- Speaker: Dr. Le Van Ut - Assistant to the Chairman of the University Board for Research Affairs, Chairman of the Research Ethics Committee, Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Advisory Council, Head of the Research Group of Scientometrics and Research Administration Policies (SARAP), Van Lang University. 

- Lac Hong University:

Contents:

- University rankings based on scientific publications (including publication of scientific articles in WoS and Scopus journals);

- Orientations for scientific publications of non-public schools according to the MOET's requirements;

- Vietnam's research database in the first half of 2024 according to WoS, (methods and data, Vietnam's scientific achievements, research fields, rankings of research article achievements); 

- Q&A about publications and rankings.
