LHU to host free “Voice Empowerment Training Course” for students and lecturers

In today’s educational landscape, soft skills, especially communication, public speaking, and stage presence play a vital role in helping learners express themselves confidently while unlocking career opportunities and enhancing personal value. To support students and lecturers in developing these essential skills, LHU plans to organize a free “Voice Empowerment Training Course” for its students and lecturers.

The program focuses on developing communication skills, stage presence, vocal techniques, and body language - foundational elements for shaping a confident and professional presenter in a globalized world.

Course title: Voice Empowerment Training Course

Time: 6:30 p.m – 8:00 p.m, May 8, 9, and 10, 2025

Venue: Auditorium A301 – Campus 1, LHU

Eligibility:

- High school students

- LHU students and lecturers

Tuition: Free

Registration: Link until May 5, 2025

Expected number of participants: 150 

A highlight of this course is the participation of top experts in media, stage performance, and skills training. The course consists of three sessions, each with hands-on instruction and practice based on specific topics:

Session 1: The art of voice empowerment

Speaker: MC and Editor Nguyen Quoc Tuan - Head of the "Nhip song Sai Gon" (Saigon Vibes) Production Team, Voice of Vietnam Radio - Expert in voice coaching and advanced communication skills.

This session will cover vocal training techniques, regional accent adjustment, breath control, voice protection, and the use of intonation to create compelling speech - core foundations for a charismatic MC.

Session 2: The art of stage presence

Speaker: MA. Vu Ngoc Diem Thuy – Deputy Head of the Sports and Entertainment Department, Dong Nai Radio and Television Station; Lecturer in Public Relations.

With extensive experience, the speaker will share methods for mastering the stage, navigating unexpected situations, and projecting a professional presence in front of audiences.

Session 3: Body language and practice

Speaker: MA. Khuat Kieu Diem Nhi – Head of Department of Communications, LHU with over 10 years of experience in hosting events of all sizes.

Participants will be guided on how to use body language, master movement on stage, and practice hosting under the speaker’s direct guidance.
