LHU appraises the proposal to launch Mechatronics Engineering Technology program

On March 1, 2025, LHU held an appraisal meeting to propose the launch of a new academic program - Mechatronics Engineering Technology. This event marks a significant milestone in LHU's development strategy, contributing to improving the quality of human resources in Dong Nai province and neighboring areas.

The appraisal session was attended by Mr. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector; Mr. Nguyen Trong Vinh – Head of the Office of Academic Affairs; and Mr. Pham Van Toan – Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, the unit in charge of the proposal; along with related lecturers and staff. The Appraisal Council was previously established based on Decision No. 1622/QD-DHLH dated December 30, 2024, and Decision No. 146/QD-DHLH dated February 15, 2025, signed by the Rector of LHU.

The proposed program is designed to equip students with in-depth knowledge of mechatronics, automation, and modern manufacturing technologies, enabling them to operate, maintain, and develop advanced industrial systems. Also, the program unlocks numerous career opportunities in manufacturing enterprises, technical services, and mechatronics-related sectors such as robotics, mechanical engineering, and software development. This initiative is both timely and essential to meet the urgent demand of the labor market in the digital technology era.

The appraisal session received valuable feedback from experts and participants, contributing to the improvement of the Mechatronics Engineering Technology training program, meeting societal and labor market demands.
