LHU freshmen 2026: Starting the university journey with practical skills

From August 24 to September 26, 2026, LHU will organize the Orientation Program for the 2026 intake. This is one of the important activities at the beginning of the university journey, helping new students gradually get familiar with their new environment and prepare themselves for the years ahead.

Starting university is more than simply moving to a new level of education. From learning methods and time management to actively finding information, using technology, and taking responsibility for their own choices, students need a new approach to their university life.

Therefore, the Freshmen Orientation Program at LHU is designed not only to help new students understand the regulations, but, more importantly, to know how to begin their university journey.

Through practical topics designed around real-life needs, freshmen will have opportunities to better understand how learning and university life work; become familiar with learning support tools and services; and develop skills for adapting to university life, staying safe, and navigating the digital environment. Topics on AI, innovation, and university learning methods will also give students a broader view of how technology and new ways of thinking are changing learning and future career requirements.

Besides knowledge and skills, the program is also an opportunity for each freshman to better understand LHU, the environment they have chosen, and their role in the LHU community. From there, students can define their learning goals more clearly, actively seek opportunities, and make good use of the resources provided by the University.

Every freshman will have a different university journey. However, to make that journey start smoothly, the first things they need are understanding, initiative, and adaptability. Therefore, the Orientation Program is not simply a series of introductory sessions, but also an important preparation for the 2026 freshmen to confidently begin a new chapter at LHU.
